How to get to Guatapé?  

In previous days, we shared some activities that you can’t miss in Guatapé, If you have not seen them, here we tell you, but now we will tell you how to get to Guatapé from Medellín, assuming that you will be coming from there or the airport. Getting there by bus: 

Although it may sound complicated, it’s not, don’t worry! Getting to Guatapé by bus is easier than you think. First of all, you need to get to the Terminal del Norte in Medellín, which is located near the Universidad Nacional and the Caribe Metro station. If you are there, then you are very close to your destination now. The next step is to look for the Sotrasanvicente bus company. The cost of each trip to Guatapé is approximately $19,000 per person. If you miss the bus you wanted, don’t worry! A new bus departs every half an hour from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. When you buy your ticket, you must pay close attention to the bus announcement, and well, just hop on and enjoy because the adventure to Guatapé begins. Getting there by private car:

Although there are several routes to get to Guatapé from Medellín, we will tell you about the shortest one because who wants to wait to arrive to paradise? No one! One thing to keep in mind with this option is that there is a toll with an approximate cost of $22,000, so prepare your payment and head to Guatapé. The first thing you will do is take Las Palmas and the Eastern Tunnel. One advantage of this route is that the signage is very good, so there is a very low probability of getting lost. And if, for some reason, you do get lost, you just have to ask for directions and anyone will help you! After passing the José María Córdova Airport, you will come across two roundabouts before reaching Marinilla. Pay close attention to this part because we want you to arrive quickly to Guatapé so you can enjoy all the activities. When you see the town of Marinilla on your left, take the first U-turn you see, and at the first intersection you see on the right, take it! That’s the road to the best adventure of your life. From there onwards, follow the road as it is, and it will take you directly to Guatapé, the place you have been dreaming of visiting. But here’s another secret for you: about 15 minutes before reaching Guatapé, you will see a left turn that says “The Boato Hotel.” That’s where we are located, in a beautiful place with a view of the forest and the reservoir, perfect for resting and enjoying the surroundings.
